Identify your wine

From 2007, we set up a "Prooftag" system that provides traceability for all our bottles and authentication for the Grand Vin. This innovative system was developed after several years of trials and enables us to improve the traceability of our wines and to prevent counterfeiting. There is now a code on each bottle neck which can be entered below to obtain information about the wine.

This reference number does not exist in the Prooftag database. We cannot certify it. Please check that you did not make a mistake when entering the reference number. Is there a problem with a reference number? Please send an email stating the reference number concerned, the problem experienced, and any other relevant information.

For bottles of Château Latour, you can visually compare the bubble code located on the neck of your bottle with the one displayed on the screen. If the bubble codes match, your bottle is unique and authenticated.

For bottles of Les Forts de Latour and Pauillac, the codes are used to improve traceability.

You must specify the identification code on your bottle. Since this system was launched with the 2007 vintage, the code does not appear on bottles from previous years.
